On the 14th February, 2005 Hotpants Romance formed two hours before our first gig, with a vow to play every year on Valentines Day. 10 years and 10 Valentines shows later, staying true to our own style of shouty, shambolic, garage pop, we return for our 10th birthday performance, unplugged at teatime at Oklahoma, Manchester!

Happy New Year fans! And as you well know by now, since we ditched the initial plan to ONLY play on valentines days we still ALWAYS play on valentines day and it's time for our annual show. Every year we like to do something different- an acoustic breakfast set, a Carrie-style prom, our first gig at Tiger Lounge...

So this Monday, be prepared...

We will be manning the Hotpants Romance HQ phone line this February 14th for a musical speed-date, call up for a live love song played to YOU! The number will be revealed on Monday and lines open from 2 o clock until 3pm! All callers will win a free signed copy of the new hotpants romance album and your chance to win a limited edition blackpool t-shirt!!
